About IdeaPals.org – Share, Manage, and Grow Ideas of all sizes
IdeaPals offers two $50,000 prizes for beta testers
Ideas need a place to grow. Create an idea group at IdeaPals.org and post events, jobs, videos, set goals, manage tasks and much more. Every idea group has a huge list of features to help you grow, manage and promote ideas of all sizes. IdeaPals.org is more than software; it’s a community of ‘idea friendly’ people. An idea social network that connects people based on what they’re passionate about, what they need and what they have. It has the tools to launch new ideas, build existing ones, and bring people together to get stuff done, all in one place. It’s free and you can use it to help start a business; change the world, or simply connect with people who enjoy the same stuff you do.
IdeaPals.org is a new website whose founders met at a business networking event and set out to create a better way to get an idea “out there” and once it’s there, to manage and grow it from the same place. Thousands of hours of development and 400 cups of coffee later: IdeaPals.org beta was launched. At IdeaPals.org you can create 100% free idea groups (advertisement supported) and optional Ad free groups with additional features. To kick start the community and encourage participation, every action on IdeaPals pays in an invented currency called “NODs” (Natural Overtures of Distinction). When you post a comment, create an idea group, or contribute, you receive a set number of NODs for that action. The highest nod earners and most active groups are cross promoted on the site. It’s not only fun, but encourages activity and promotes the top contributing members.
To further help creative people with the courage to make their ideas succeed, IdeaPals is offering a contest to the first 5000 members to make their dreams a reality*. The two grand prizes (valued at $50,000 each) include two large custom websites built with the same technology as ideapals.org and a marketing campaign in the first crowd-driven web series. The contest ends at midnight when the ball drops in NY Times Square. There are two ways to win; by sheer luck, and by earning the most NODs. Earn 25 NODs just for Signing up, and have a shot at the grand prize. IdeaPals.org is being heavily marketed and will reach the 5,000 mark very soon,
What kinds of ideas can you add to IdeaPals.org? That’s limited only by your imagination and even from Idea Pal’s initial launch ideas include everything from crowd-driven collaborative film to a peer to peer private car rental platform and we’re just getting started. Create your idea group and join other groups now at IdeaPals.org!

IdeaPals offers two $50,000 prizes for Beta Testers
IdeaPals is the evolution of an inspiration transforming into a thought, then an idea into a reality. It is about users, and content, and websites, and humans, and machines. It is about collaboration, in person, remotely, and from across the world.
The inspiration for Ideapals.org sprouted from IdeaBlob and Bloblive. IdeaBlob and Bloblive were social networking sites, basically a blog for business ideas. They were sponsored by a east-coast based bank called Advanta, that wanted to issue credit cards to entrepreneurs and small businesses, so Bloblive was born, with cameras, live feeds, local media representatives, and an uncanny ability to get on the front page of Twitter every time. The idea was that the press and other online and media exposure would cause ideas to get funded. Unfortunately, Advanta went bankrupt and the very popular Bloblive could not adjust to a user-paid revenue model quickly enough, so it failed.
Solomon, CEO of MoviePals and IdeaPals, developed an open-source type model for film-making, while utilizing advances in bandwidth and storage technology to make it possible for novices and professional all over the world to collaborate and make films.
Together, Solomon and Brian Bentow founded Moviepals Entertainment - based on the press and notoriety Solomon had gained from his low-cost film-making ventures and the extensive press and buzz created for that aspect of the business by Bloblive, including write-ups in the Los Angeles Times, and a host of others, including National Public Radio (NPR). MoviePals.org recieves over 1,000 unique visitors a day and this is only the beginning.
For what would cost millions only few years ago, IdeaPals.org, the website that offers jobs, networking and even hosting social events, was built by Solomon Rothman and Brian Bentow in two months, due to modern day technology and collaboration.
