Whenever you create written content, you will see a toolbar full of gadgets to use and customize your text. This is called a WYSIWYG editor (short for What You See Is What You Get). Click the little image with a tree in it, and a new window will pop up.

Click on the image-icon depicting a window circled in red. This will open another pop-up window. This new window is where you'll have your personal image storage-- this means that when you upload an image here, you will be able to use it as many times as you want, as long as you are logged in. Click "Upload" in the upper-left corner and a menu to browse from your computer will show up.

Click the new "Upload" button once you've located the file from your computer. The image file will show up under "File name" when it has been successfully uploaded. Select your image by clicking on it under "File name", then click "Send to tinymce".

**Note** if you don't have image editing software and you need to resize your image and reduce loadig time, there is a "Resize" button in between "Delete" and "Send to tinymce" you can click. It will adjust the image to the size you want by pixels (it calculates the scaled down proportions for you).

After you click "Send to tinymce" the newer window will close and you'll be left with your first pop-up. Once the image you selected shows up in the small pop-up, click "Insert" and voila!

I know this is a lot of steps, but it's awesome because you now have your own personal image storage! Keep in mind there are other ways to do it, such as using the attachment option.
