The blueprint for the film Boy Who Never Slept is now online and available for everyone to read, critique and use in their own works. See the source files page. The full length script has been released under a Creative Commons 2.5 Attribution License, meaning you can use it anyway you want, as long as you credit me as the writer. That includes commercially.
Formatting and Availability I made the script available in PDF format (best for printing). Have fun with it and let me know if you have any comments etc. Note, this is a shooting script so it does contain camera work and angles etc. I wrote this in two weeks, so it's not as polished as it could be, but I hope you like it. Also I was learning screenplay format so some of the standard conventions may be slightly off. Feel free to post any feedback you may have, I would love to hear it.
Sample list of things you could do with this script.
1. Write your own sequel.
2. Use it as a guide for a derivative work or a re-edit.
3. Subtitle the movie in your language using the script to map out dialogue (although the movie isn't completely true to the script, there are some discrepancies)
4. Get some insight into the scenes that were not filmed or changed during production.
5. Improve the characters and use them in your own works. It would be very amusing to me if the character Daniel Weston, or Casey Smith appeared as a side part in a different movie. 6. Enjoy the story in this form for what it is, take from it what you will.
7. Improve the script, give it your spin.
8. Use it as a guide to learn screenplay format, or critique it all you want and correct my formatting (hopefully there aren't too many errors).
9. Use your imagination, and find something totally unique to use them for.
